Remnant tropical moisture is expected to bring periods of heavier showers, particularly over the windward waters this weekend. Hurricane Lane, currently about 1280 nm east-southeast of Hilo, Hawaii, may bring tropical storm conditions to waters south of the Big Island beginning around Tuesday of next week. $$
